RIESLING SPÄTLESE MULLAY
HOFBERG TERRASSEN
The small Julius Treis Winery with its 5 hectares of vineyards is located in the Mosel valley. The spectacular steep slopes here are mainly dedicated to Riesling
and can only be cultivated by hand. The origin and the fine differences between
the vintages can be tasted in every wine, preserving the unique character of each vineyard.
The vineyard Mullay-Hofberg is the top site of the winery where every year grow
the best wines. Many small terraces with dry stone walls and a steep slope with a
difference in altitude of more than 150 meter characterize this vineyard. Spätlese
is used for wines made from ripe grapes with a certain degree Oechsle between
76 and 95g of sugar.
